Ihunde Glamping Resort

The first of its kind located on Bulago island- Ihunde Camping Resort is positioned to be an original themed Glamping style establishment.
‘Ihunde’ translates to hidden gem, and the design philosophy Surrounding nature and the lake water body provided context and a scenic backdrop for design inspiration and décor detailing.

The uniquely inspired scheme aimed at setting Ihunde apart from the existing resort and accommodation facilities within the area. Public areas such as the Pool Gazebo, Clubhouse and Washrooms have been detailed to display an appreciation of indigenous textures & finishes for example making use of the island’s pebble stones, fisherman’s rope & washed up recycled glass.
Tent accommodation structures are defined into three: the Luxury tent, Family tent and Budget tent each with its own En-suite bathroom. The amenities are based on functionality and occupancy.
